Cooperative Sagebrush Initiative - Meetings
Key to the success of the Cooperative Sagebrush Initiative is unity of purpose and action among partners. Communication is therefore critical. As this initiative gains momentum it is important for partners to come together periodically to discuss the design and performance of both the initiative's components as well as the whole.

A key incentive for fostering conservation investment in the sagebrush region is a functioning system of conservation credits that can be traded according to a set of common rules. A Foundational aspect of a conservation credit system is a clear and simple methodology for valuing both documented conservation actions as well as projected landscape impacts in a “common currency.” To address this fundamental aspect of CSI, the Partnership hosted a Conservation Credit Forum in Tucson, Arizona on Monday, March 12 through Wednesday, March 14, 2007.
